My Droid and Google Sky

Have had a Droid for eight months now and find it effective.  It is a bit too heavy, but works well.  In addition to the basic apps I have downloaded (and sometimes removed) various free apps.  I won’t, in today’s market at least, pay for an app.  Some of the apps EG Compass, Droid Light, and the KJV are very useful. Others I don't find so useful, yet.
Sunday night I was sitting on the deck, looking at the mountains and wondering if I was seeing Venus or Mars. I thought about the iPad and that constellation software you see on TV.  It immediately occurred to me there might be something similar for my Droid.  There is and five minutes later I answered my question.  It was Venus.
While the app has stopped running at times, it is great.  I never knew one could see Jupiter with the naked eye. Wow. Last four nights I have been outside looking at the sky.  This world is beautiful.  See it.
